The thing you have written under "The Best Thing About These Products....." should not actually be one of the best things, as in windows using the backup and utilities you can also set a time daily for backups to be taken on a drive. For eg in a office the closing time is 5PM so backup is set at that time and all data is backed up by the windows itself on the destination you want it to be.
The best thing could be the Nano size of these drives.

ya, that's write that the best thing is it's nano size..
but, i think you have not read it correctly i have also written there vice versa which means your file also copy from your drive to your system... which can done by your system .. ;)

can't u connect it with a normal usb cable?

as u see in the image the drive is fit in the plastic case through which u can add the usb cable ,
because usb plug is not enabled in the device, but with in the case...

ya , case is compulsary of this device.. otherwise you wouldn't be able to use...
seagate is a bit costly
how about maxtor 320gb 2.5"
